Oh woe to ye of short attention spans for reading! (And I must include myself in that category at times). I have split the original “You’ve Got Mail” post and made several schedule changes (La Bahia). Note that the activities listed below are my main events and are certainly not comprehensive of the week’s activities. Plus, if you are coming down for a particular event, I strongly encourage you to call ahead to make sure that event is still being held and where.
My schedule notes run through the 29th of September but there are still a few shows left to open that final week and Zapp Hall has a variety of musical acts throughout the coming week as well as a Gospel Brunch. The Junk Gypsy Co. sponsors the Junk-o-rama Prom (a Texas-style vintage-flair prom). Plus there is a wine shop in Round Top that usually has live music in the evenings.
I will visit the show nearly daily as long as the weather holds and then I usually wrap up my adventures by the Thursday before the final weekend.

Charles Keyton & Co featuring three San Antonio Dealers will be hosting an
early opening in Sommerfeld Place (this is in downtown Warrenton). Every
sale will be 20% off.
This is my favorite place for opulent vintage drapes, wonderful table linens,
and the best-priced vintage jewelry around.
I have heard that a limited number of vendors start selling this weekend so
this year I am off to check it out.

Warrenton, next wave of dealers come in. My friends over at Mustang Alley
will begin setup in Renck Field. Rachel and I will be on-hand to help.
This is your one stop shop for cowhides and cowgirl curiosities. This year
Mary will be adding bling purses. As always, she will have an eclectic
selection of antiques and hand-painted signs by Cat Spring Woodworks.

My mini-me is thrilled to have a day off school so she can join me.
That kid has a knack for cruising vendors and snagging free goodies.
Weekdays are a great time to shop!
Dealers are still pretty fresh and the crowds usually haven’t made it in yet.

This is a fantastic show for day-trippers from Houston as it is the first one
off HWY 290 as you exit SH 237.
All for today.
Enjoy the cool front if you’ve already gotten it.
We did.
Yesterday it went from 95 to 90 degrees.
