What is the IBL Workshop?
The IBL Workshop is a professional development workshop for mathematicians who teach upper-level undergraduate Mathematics courses that are proof based, including courses such as Abstract Algebra, Analysis, Complex Analysis, Introduction to Proof, Discrete Mathematics, and Number Theory. The IBL Workshop is a 5-day intensive program where math faculty read research articles from mathematics education, watch real-time video of a course taught via IBL, and develop materials for their own target course.
In addition to the 5-day workshop, participants are mentored throughout the following year by experienced users of IBL. Additionally financial assistance is provided in the form of travel, hotel, and some meals during the workshop. If you have any questions about the workshop, please (Email Stan).
