Project: unkown

Into the Unknown is where we’re heading, not knowing the outcome. failure could be the greatest learning experience, and perfection could be the best inspiration.

Starting with the latest project “build green”

The studio itself is a 432 sq ft. space constructed post and beam, partial rastra, along with a solar passive design. Constructed into a hillside surrounded by 180˚ view of the Sangre de Christo mountain range in northern New Mexico. On hold till weather resumes to not cold.

How can I get involved in the next HDTS?

We are always in need of volunteers to help prepare sites, remove/restore vandalized works, or assist artists on a one on one basis. If you are available the week before the event and want to help out please contact us.

Do you take proposals for HDTS projects?

We are currently not taking submissions for projects.

Where can I stay in the area during the event?

There are a variety of lodging options in the area, ranging from rustic to fancy. A list of accomodations is posted on our "Directions" page. You are also welcome to camp in the Joshua Tree National Monument. In additon to the hotels, motels, and cabins on our directions page, 29 Palms also has a Motel 6, a Best Western, and a Holiday Inn.
