Southeast Missouri Writers Guild
We are writers encouraging other writers to practice and polish their craft--at any age over 15 (ages 15-17 require parental permission) and through all genres: fiction, memoir, creative nonfiction, poetry, essay. We welcome anyone who writes for their own enjoyment as well as those who regularly publish their work.
Southeast Missouri Writers Guild membership benefits:

✎  monthly chapter meetings, excluding July and December, featuring speakers on publishing and the art of writing

✎  the guild chapter newsletter twice a year

✎  email updates

✎  consideration of your submissions for inclusion in the annual Southeast Missouri Writers Guild members-only anthology

✎  discounts at the Missouri Writers Guild annual conference, MWG members contests, and our own Fall conference

✎  members may post their bios on the chapter website and on MWG’s speakers bureau site
Southeast Missouri Writers Guild is not a critique group nor do we provide editing services. We provide information, speakers, networking opportunities, and the chance to share ideas and tips with other writers.
