We are a Bible-believing and Gospel-preaching congregation. We love the Bible's teaching that the only way to be saved from certain Judgement and Hell is by the Saviour He has provided - the Lord Jesus Christ. We love this because we have repeatedly found that our efforts aren't good enough.

If God will not take us on to freely save us, then we have no hope. But the Bible tells us that we have real hope and peace with God by the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary. There He satisfied the anger and wrath of God against us on account of our sinful nature.

We are Reformed: that means we hold to the teachings of the Bible re-discovered at the time of the Reformation: they include the doctrine of justification by faith, through grace, by Christ alone.

We are Presbyterian: that means our church is organised by church courts. The Session look after the local congregation. The Presbytery look after the congregations of an area. Then we have regional Synods and a national Assembly.

We are Psalm-Singers: this means that we use the Hymns already included in the Bible to praise God.
