Fire Prevention
Fire Prevention is probably the most important job we have. It takes on many forms such and building inspections, career days, Fire Prevention week, and community outreach.
For many years the Lodi Fire Department has been hosting the Lodi School District at the station for Fire Prevention. This year over 800 kids came to the station for a quick tour, a talk on wild-land fire prevention, and a movie on calling 911. Over the last couple of years the Department has produced it’s own fire prevention movies that re-enforce the message by using local places and people that the kids all relate to. It has been a tremendous success and we can now share these movies with you. Our goal is to produce a movie a year to debut during Fire Prevention Week and then make the movie available on line here.
