Lodi Area Fire District
The City of Lodi, Town of Lodi and the Town of West Point are all served by the Lodi Area Fire Department. The Department is governed by the Lodi Area Fire District formed by the three municipalities. Each community appoints citizens to form the board that conducts the actual oversight.
The Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month to conduct it’s business. The Board takes recommendations from the Fire Department Membership, the municipalities and other government agencies to develop the yearly budget and to set the policies of the Department. The Fire Board is responsible for maintaining the operational condition of the equipment and insuring the readiness of the Department.
