The 38th annual 7290 traffic net picnic was held in Smithville, Texas, on May 3, 2008.  There were many attendees from the SSB traffic nets.  Attending from TEX were Steve, K6JT, from Plano, the net manager, Rodney, W5DY, from Goliad, the assistant net manager, Pat, KD5TXD from Kingsville, and Ken, K5RG, from Houston.

The movie shows W5DY receiving a certificate of excellence from the Texas Traffic Net, the welcoming speech from K6JT, the presentation of the Pfeiffer Pfist award to Pat, KD5TXD, in appreciation for her great support of TEX and excellent development of CW skills, and a short greeting from the Texas Slow Net.
