Through out his life Jerome has had a series of mishaps, at the age of seven, being in the sate of disobedience, he accidentally shot himself in the leg, he has been in fifteen vehicle accidents and was involved with violence and crime.
These mishaps started occurring in 1978 and by 1981; Jerome started using drugs, developing a $2000.00 a week addiction, he overdosed on cocaine twice during this time.
In 1990, still using, he signed a national recording contract to compose, arrange, and sing secular music, but the hand of God intervened stopping Jerome from pursuing this path. Later in the year, while he was still under the influence of drugs and alcohol, the Lord spoke to him to turn his life around, this was his final chance.
Today, Jerome is still a resident of Fort Pierce, Fl., but he is no longer the product of a druggie environment, he has shed his old man and has come back into the fold as a child of the Lord, encouraging others through his testimony, through God inspired songs and through his outreach ministries at The Love Center.
