2008 Fellowship Fund
Help Us Give a Stanford Student an Unforgettable Summer Work Experience!
Please give generously to our SPWLA Fellowship Fund. Each year, SPWLA funds one or more Stanford women who apply for the fellowship, enabling our fellows to spend the summer working in the non-profit world. We are pleased to be able to help talented young women explore their professional interests while they are still in school. These internships reap important dividends in many different ways - both in the lives of the interns and in the Los Angeles community.
If you contribute $50 or more, you will be invited to our summer luncheon where we meet our fellowship recipient (or recipients if we are able to fund more than one internship) and we learn how the internship is progressing. All contributions are appreciated.
Accept The Challenge.
I support SPWLA’s commitment to fund fellowships for deserving undergraduate Stanford women who wish to devote their summer to community service.

The 15-Minute Mentor Program
The 15-minute mentor program enables SPWLA members to assist and advise younger SPWLA members or current Stanford students on professional matters. The 15-minute mentor program is also available to SPWLA members who are making career changes and would appreciate helpful advice from fellow Stanford graduates. Mentors are required to spend no more than 15 minutes at a time with mentees. This approach creates an opportunity for SPWLA members to discuss work experiences and offer valuable insights to other Stanford women without having to make a large time commitment. Members who have served as mentors in the past report that the experience of mentoring is very rewarding.
If you are interested in participating in the program, please refer to your printed SPWLA Member Directory which was mailed to current SPWLA members in December. SPWLA members who are willing to be 15-minute mentors are listed with an asterisk next to their names. If you have any questions, please contact membership chair, Neville Anderson. nevilleanderson@yahoo.com

It takes $4,000 to fund just one fellowship, so we appreciate your generosity. You can either make a donation via Paypal using the link below or contact Neville Anderson at nevilleanderson@yahoo.com to mail a check.
