Some of the cruisers were up and away early on friday, heading north around Skye, or out to the Western Isles. Others took a little longer to explore Talisker Distillery, with whisky nosings continuing throughout the morning. The breeze was from the north and the sun was shining, so a few spinnakers were unpacked for the sail south from Loch Harport. Some cruisers anchored at Canna, where Tom Jones, this week’s “floating nose” on board Spray, conducted an nosing in idyllic surroundings. We headed back to Arisaig via the Small Isles, and another beautiful sunset.
