SP Recordings was launched on Saturday the 9th of December 2006 at Turnmills in London. As you know this is the label for Smartie Partie one of the longest running club nights in the country currently residing monthly at SCALA in London.

We at SP felt that it was about time to share worldwide the musical style that has carried our parties so far. The music on the label will be a direct reflection of Trace Harris (SP Promoter) and Carlos Francisco’s (SP Resident) palette for good dance music. Taking influences from artists ranging from Derrick Carter to SWAG to Terry Francis, from Redhead to Dennis Ferrer we are confident our audience will be touched by our releases.

Our Next venture will be none other than the OFFICIAL remixes of Stephan Rhemler’s "Da Da Da" (Trio 1982) which features 7 cuts of different sub dance genre remixes by well known and respected artists like Lunacy Sound Division, Carlos Francisco, Coco Silco Danny Dove and more.
