After several years of good and loyal service in the cause of rescuing spelling from the stifling shackles of the schooling schemes and systems, the original Real Spelling Tool Box is moving progressively into well-deserved retirement. Step by step each of the seven Tool Kits is being completely revised, rewritten and re-presented as a multimedia resource on disk - materially more compact and conceptually more extensive,
The time has come for a complete upgrade and re-writing of the original Tool Box’s presentation of the English spelling system as it really is.

TBox2 is completely independent of an internet connection.
My goal is a comprehensive and robust presentation of the English spelling system for anyone who has the intellectual integrity and determination to take it.
Certainly teachers will be well represented amongst such valiant takers, but English orthography is not just the property of schools. TBox2 is for anyone and everyone who wants to work with the rich treasures that our orthographic system represents.
Every Theme in the new Kit 4 still deals with the same topic as before - so, for instance, 4G is still about when we use the suffix <-t> instead of <-ed> with verbs, and 4K is still about what there is to learn from the spelling of <was>. But the content in every case is richer, deeper, more precise - and animated.
