June 14th, 2007 hike up Mt. Lafayette and Mt. Lincoln in the White Mtns. These mountains are two of the 4000 footers, 5260 ft and 5089 ft respectively, they are the 6th and 7th highest. Hikers were Connor McCarthy, Graham Melville, Jordan Fields, Alex Melville, Steven Chick, Jessica and Hunter Melville. The boys received several compliments on their good behavior, we were proud to be with them. We climbed up the Bridle Trail and descended the Falling Waters Trail. The trip was 9.1 miles and took 7 hours. After a quick swim in Echo Lake, we went up to Littleton for root beer floats and burgers. One great trip!!
