About the art What is the secret of love? If you’re asking the question about human love, then the answer is much too complex to answer. If you are asking about the secret of divine love, then answers become easier. Why is this?
With human love you have two parties who love each other, but often times one or both fall out of love. When one leaves, that’s the end. With divine love, you have at least one party that is constant, the source of love itself, God. I once heard a wise man say, “Soul exists because of God’s love for it.” In other words, we are living this moment because of God’s loving attention on us now.
So God loves us/Soul, but as the second member in the relationship, are we aware of God’s love for us? Do we feel it, breathe it, walk, sleep and live in it? For myself, I’d have to confess not often enough, but I’ve found a few secrets to live more consciously in God’s love.
One secret is simply to live with gratitude, to thank God for the gifts that I have received. When I take time away from asking for help and just opened my heart and am grateful for all the gifts I’d received, something wonderful happens. Read more....
