Sanctus is a Latin word meaning, “Holy.” In some traditions it’s repeated 3 times to call everyone’s attention to a holy moment. I imagine that this transcendent woman is in heaven greeting a great Soul or Christ spirit. There is a great light behind her, but she is facing into an even stronger light. It’s fun to imagine who she sees and what happens after their meeting. This art is in the more traditional religious genre with a contemporary look.
This is a gicée print on heavy satin art canvas, enhanced by carefully applied brush stokes to create a more iridescent, dimensional look. This art has a very rich appearance and looks wonderful in a large, ornate gold frame with linen inlays.
I use special archival quality chrome inks rated for 200 years. The canvas receives at least two coats of UV lacquer spray to increase longevity and protect the art. A series of 1200 prints will be made at each size. Each print is individually numbered and signed by the artist, and comes with an Artist Certificate of Authorization. If you order it unframed, I’d be happy to ship it to your framer where you can select a special frame.
