Songs of Spirit series - Live in God’s Love

This is the second in the Songs of Spirit series and one of my favorites. I see the bright star as God’s presence and wisdom that we can connect to in our everyday life. Some may see this as the presence of the Christ spirit in us. Although our bodies are in an exterior world, by shifting our attention to the inner with prayer, meditation, or by simply giving God our devoted attention, we are able to begin to experience the sacred presence of His love, protection and guidance. This spiritual exercise is called, “practicing the presence.”

The words I put high on the art are:

“I live in God’s love, God’s love lives in me.”

I see this statement as meaning God’s presence is all around me, but most of the time I am oblivious to this. When I accept his presence and love, then God’s love is both outside of me and lives within me. This also works wonderfully when you take a moment to see and appreciate God’s presence in others.
