I'm Paul Sonnenberg. I live in Austin, Texas. I've played guitar since 1976 and have been obsessed with bossa nova since about 2002.
I've adapted or translated 36 songs by Jobim and others into English. I’m also learning to sing these wonderful songs in Portuguese.
At this site you can read my lyrics, hear my recordings, and watch the videos I’ve made to accompany them. You’ll also hear songs from my life before the bossa nova, along with cover versions of songs by people like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, the Police, etc.
