so, we’re about to get spanked again. two tropical cyclones are en route, bopa will arrive first  followed by saomi. it does not look like they will grow to typhoons, and taiwan is set to bear the brunt of it anyhow, but there is a lot of rain and those little white spinny things on the weather report. i am good with it, provided the rain does not hinder my exit from zhuhai tomorrow. i am taking a super-turbojet-ferry from jiuzhou port straight into HK. i think the trip takes all of 50 minutes. i am looking forward to this. i am also looking forward to getting a few days to myself back in HK. the national museum is something i’ve been wanting to see for some time. besides the museum, i’m just looking forward to drinking buckets of good tea, and gorging on mountains of dim sum.
