Welcome to the first Hungarian-English EFT webpage. My primary aim with this webpage is to make EFT available for the Hungarian public, but as a celebration of EFT, I would like to enrich the English material already available on the web.
What is EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)?
EFT is a fantastic healing and self-healing method, which by restoring the balance of the energy system, releases the body’s natural self-healing energies and facilitates physical and/or emotional healing. EFT can be used anywhere, any time, even as a first-aid method, as it helps reducing physical pain, can stop bleeding or allergic reactions often within minutes.
Once you have mastered the basic steps of EFT, you can use the techniques in the privacy of your home, but also in a public place, should you need it. You will be able to completely heal, or at least speed up the healing process of chronic diseases or stubborn emotional and psychological problems.
Even though EFT is so easy that even a child can learn it in a few minutes, the resulting emotional and physical changes are deep and long-lasting, or even final.
And the success rates are amazing: even in the hands of a beginner the success rate can be as high as 80%, and used by experienced EFT practitioners, the success rate is even higher: about 90-95%!
EFT was originally developed by Gary Craig in the 1990s, and his excellent webpage – www.emofree.com - is a wealth of information on EFT, with plenty of free material for you to immediately learn the method so that you can start using it daily! How does it work?
EFT is sometimes also called a psychological acupuncture or acupressure technique to optimize emotional health. The good news is, that for EFT we do not have to use needles. All we do is, we tap certain meridian points on the body – mainly the head and the torso) while tuned into the problem.
By tapping these acu-points, we release the blocked energy or energy disruptions in the body, thus enabling the energy to flow freely again. Once the energy disruption is removed, the physical or emotional expression of the disruption will automatically disappear too.
As Gary Craig said in his discovery statement:
„The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”
Consequently, once the disruption (block) is removed from the energy system, the negative emotion will also dissipate. As we are beginning to become more and more conscious of the fact that most physical ailments have and underlying emotional cause, it stands to reason, that by removing the negative emotions from our system, we greatly contribute to our healing or improved emotional and physical health!
