Soundwork as Soulwork Sonic Facilitation

I am currently studying to become a Soundwork Practitioner with Gary Diggins, founder, Toronto SoundSource (TSS).  I incorporate a "Soundwork as Soulwork" philosophy into my practice, which allows you to explore your personal life journey through the presence and beauty of sound. Musically, let me take you on a journey which allows you to connect with the ground of your being, or helps you hook into your soul to align yourself with the nature of Love.

I offer individual soundwork sessions. In a non-invasive, gentle and meditative way, with a variety of vocal sounds and instruments, a live improvisational soundscape is created to support your relief of stress, bring you to a more tranquil state, help you to clear tension, reawaken your creativity, support you in your grief or simply bless you. As a receiver you can expect to have a time of deep listening and ideally drop down into a relaxed state of peace, calm and comfort. Sessions can be in my studio or on site. A treatment is a simple yet profound experience. You will be invited to lie on an elevated massage table, fully clothed, and close your eyes and listen.

Group facilitation events include vocal sounding, WomanSong events and drumming.

I am a member of the Canadian Association of Sound Practitioners (CASP), a coalition of therapists, musicians, performers and teachers who respect an ancient principle: sound, when expressed with purpose and artistry, can promote individual and group well-being.

CASP members are enthusiastic about the innate power of sound to enhance everything from physical health to spiritual wellness. We are living in turbulent times. We believe our work with intentional sound-making can contribute to a Great Turning. Through our classes, concerts and communication we are out to enthuse others! Come participate in a symphony of transformation.

On the transforming end of the continuum lies mystery and blessing.  In other words, no human being can arbitrarily produce or conjure up a transformative experience.  Like a gift from the soul, transformation is bestowed as a blessing when inner and outer conditions are just right.  However life plays out for a client, soundwork can help prepare the appropriate setting in the heart and cultivate a good garden where reverie, gratitude, or spiritual communion can take root. Sound is like a sonic tonic, it’s good medicine - Gary Diggins
