Highlights for
April 6 - April 13, 2009
  1. •Our investigation of world religions is entering the final stages!  The students started with Buddhisn, followed by Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and most recently, Hinduism. They started to study Sikhism last week. As we investigate all these fascinating faiths, students will be be learning about many different countries and cultures. Next up will be Taoism, the religion / philosophy as taught by the great Lao-Tzu and his pupil Confucius, both of whom were taught by Mr. Sullivan as 7th Graders! They always did their homework!
  2. •There will be a surprise QUIZ on Sikhism on TUESDAY, April 7, 2009. Parents are asked to encourage their students to take the online review for the test! CLICK HERE to try it!
  3. •Spring Break starts this week on Thursday April 9, through Monday April 13, 2009! The Easter Bunny is on his way kids, so be good and don’t forget your homework. Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy every moment with your family and friends! See you on April 14th!
