Choir Tour ‘08

April 3rd, was our first ministry/worship experience of Tour ’08.   Our friends at First Baptist Moore St. hosted a wonderful cookout which brought together two youth choirs, 25 homeless friends of Fayetteville and 2 dance teams.  It was a beautiful night as relationships were established and friends were made.  May God receive all the glory, honor and praise from our efforts!

SNYDER MEMORIAL BAPTIST CHURCH FINAL CONCERT OF TOUR ‘08

VIDEO COMING SOON!!!!

Friday night at the Good Shepherd Center was absolutely amazing!  God really did pour out his love through our kids!  It was awesome to see the youth open up and reach out to the women, men and children staying at the shelter.  Through the songs God’s love was proclaimed and I believe relationships were restored.

At the end of the night we had the privilege to share ministry and prayer with several individuals who are in the midst of transition.  They are seeking desperately to know and follow God’s will.  Will you join us today in praying for our homeless friends in the Wilmington area who are searching for God’s direction.

Saturday and Sunday were two amazing days filled with love, laughter, and lots of FOOD!  The folks at the Retirement home were a blessing and a real inspiration for how to keep living in the midst of adversity and set-backs.

The lunch boat mystery cruise was a delight with a twist.  Carter Benge guess the mystery murder but Kathryn Harnsburger won the craziest guess award.

Our time at Providence Baptist Church was truly spirit filled and inspiring.  God used our tiny Choir to motivate this church’s Baptist Men and Women groups to re-active and plan a blow-out pig pick’n.  Our concert was simply icing on the cake was Larry’s dad spend time going down memory lane and reminiscing with old friends.

Sunday morning was challenging, not only because our group was suffering from sleep depravation, but the message to “Get out of the Boat” was given from the pastor to be an on-going and everyday task.  We’ll have to wait and see if our students took him seriously when he asked them to initiate conversation and make new friends.

Sunday night @ SNYDER was wonderful.  It felt good to be back home, but more importantly it was fun to share our songs and stories.  Hearing Della’s senior speech was very moving and it motivated us all to give God FULL CONTROL of our lives no matter the circumstances.
