Tibet Nomadic Medical Clinic
In October 2006, filmmaker Sara Nesson directed and filmed a five-week pilgrimage and medical clinic in Eastern Tibet, led by Zen Buddhist Priest Roshi Joan Halifax.
Pilgrimage Thru Kham, follows a team of clinicians trekking over 16,000 foot mountains in order to bring healthcare to nomadic villages. Along the way, the beauty of the Tibetan people and the vastness of the rugged landscape humble us. We learn that in helping Tibet, we are helping the soul of humanity.
