The Dallas Area Fiber Artist in conjunction with the Texas Visual Arts Association had a wonderful show going on at the TVAA Gallery in the Plaza of Americas Building in Downtown Dallas located at 700 N. Pearl Street.  There were so many beautiful pieces in the show.  The show was on display until  Sept 27th.  Hope you had a chance to get down there to see it.  If you missed it check out the pictures of the exhibit on the DAFA website.
