If you're familiar with Sweet Adelines International, you'll know that our a cappella barbershop organization promotes musical excellence, personal growth, and fellowship through practice and performance.  Show-Me Harmony Chorus is a charter member of Region 25, known as the "Heart of America."  

 

Our chorus recently returned from the yearly Region 25 competition held this year in Richardson, TX, just outside Dallas.  The chorus received a standing ovation for their entertaining performance.  It was so much fun learning about being clowns and how to apply the makeup correctly.  Without trying, our members’ individual personalities came through in costume and makeup.  

 

Our chorus is joining other choruses within our region to provide an opportunity for you to learn about barbershop music through a FREE vocal education program.  This four (4) week program covers such subjects as Posture, Breathing, Phonation, Resonance, and much more.  It will be held every Thursday evening at 7:00, from May 28 through June 18.  You don’t have to join the chorus to attend the program.  For more information, go to the About Us page.
