                                 Sweet Adelines Chorus of Joplin, Missouri

 

Are you a woman who likes to sing and perform? Do you sing with the radio on your way to work or dance with the vacuum cleaner as a partner? Do you live in commuting distance of Joplin, Missouri?  If so, have we got a deal for you! You can use your talents to perform with our Sweet Adeline chorus.

 

If you're familiar with Sweet Adelines, you'll know that our a cappella barbershop organization promotes musical excellence, personal growth, and fellowship through practice and performance. Show-Me Harmony Chorus is a charter member of Region 25, known as the "Heart of America". Our chorus is truly representative of our four-state location, in that our members come from Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas. In fact, some of our members even drive two hours one way to be with us.

 

 

Our chorus competes every year at regional competition and has at least two performances of our annual show in the fall. We perform many other places throughout our area, sometimes sending the whole chorus, a smaller version of it, or perhaps a quartet. Our members are caring, enthusiastic, and entertaining singers.
