Texting, Texting, 1-2-3
Yes, it’s overdue, me learning to text message, or tmsg, rite? My daughters say it’s easier if I use “chatspeak”.
Recently, I have sent a couple of great ones. Thankfully, my friends let it slide and then wait for me to get the next text mess right, or at least close.
Last night, I thought I would send my friend Avril a HMD message. Here’s what she got;
Part 1) Hi. Part 2) Mom dazz. She knew what I meant.
A few days ago, my friend Fiona’s brother,Steven, sent me a message and my first attempt came out as, “ok you11”.
I then responded with “2 mtv”, which made no sense at all. Finally, “I m bad tm”, to which he kindly responded, “rite on”.
I m getting better, but 2day, I wuz on a roll. My response to my r’n’r buddy Scott’s HMD message was, “thanks prs”. Knowing Scott, he may have tried to put words to prs, like, president, or possibly, peace rev sweetie, which would b fine.
Then, I wrote back to say, “I m a bad tm er”, which came out as, “I m a bad tuttut”, which we both found amusing.
Finally, I got out, “I suck at tm leapsd”.
Itz ok, I get it right soon, tuttut.
