Slo-Parts History
The story of Slo-Parts, (Ed Wemmerus), From then until now!
I was born and raised on the East Coast untill I was 16. Just before I turned 17, I moved to California and shortly after that, joined the U.S. Air Force. While in the Air Force a friend of mine showed me how to play a few chords on his guitar. Well the rest is history. Over the years since then I've played as a single act, a duo act, been in Garage, Rock, Country, and Blues bands. I’ve played Blues, Jazz, Country, Rock, Funk, Old Standards and have even dabbled in Classical music on a few occasions.
I’ve been retired from music since 1995, but I still have the bug. Now I can work on my music full time while I kick back and wait for the Grim Reaper to pay me a call. Until then I have my music and I'm spending my time writing new songs, and learning about all the changes going on in music and the music business. I’m also learning how to use all the wonderful new equipment and techniques available using digital recording systems and my Mac.
I just can't seem to give it up and that’s good.
