To be honest, we have only ever used New Generation for lessons and they are excellent. They are based in the town and all instructors speak English. They are very popular (especially in peak weeks) so you would be well advised to book lessons in advance of your visit.

Train is by far the most eco-friendly way to travel. It can also give you the chance of an 8 day holiday as you can arrive first thing on Saturday and leave late the next Saturday. You MUST book ski & snow trains early as they sell out very quickly.

In the Resort you will find many ski hire shops offering a range of ski packages to suit your ability and budget. The Ariondaz has its very own Ski hire shop which offers discounts to residents and currently has a 20% discount for booking online. The brothers who run the shop are very friendly and speak good English. The shop also sells milk, juice and bread during the Winter season !
