D45V

Here is my latest guitar and “for me” the Holy Grail of acoustic guitars, the Martin D45V.  The “V” is for Vintage, as in “made the way they used to make ‘em”, sure there are more “Authentic” models however but then you loose some of the modern improvements made in terms of technology claims Martin.   The purists would however prefer the “Authentic”.  I prefer (mainly for cost reasons!) the “V” for it’s compromise in cost/tone/quality.  This guitar sounds about as good as you can expect from a non-”pre-war” Martin guitar without spending $20,000 or more!
