In 1976 Aldie began restoration of his 1931 Model A Ford Mail Truck.  With no direction, he formed The Postal A’s to research the vehicle.  With help of others, information was obtained which led to 15 years of Newsletters followed by the 1999 publishing of his definitive work on the truck.  Over the past 30 years Aldie has been very active in the Model A Ford Club of America, the Model A Ford Restorers Club, and the Model A Ford Foundation, Inc.
