The reflections of the 59th Street Bridge caught my eye one day as I was walking on York Avenue. It was late afternoon and the light was hitting the facade of a black glass building with the bridge’s image abstracted on the facade. As a “Queens Girl” for most of my life, this bridge holds a special place in my memory.
