WELCOME
The www.CairnsWorld.com domain name was first registered in 1999. The website started started life in Indonesia as an ‘easy’ way to communicate with family and friends - primarily as an alternative to e-mail. I would spend hours teaching myself web design techniques using all manner of web publishing tools, before buying an Apple computer and learning to truly do things the easy way. This new site is an evolution of the old, traditional look and feel of the original site, to more of a blogging layout and uses Apples proprietary (and brilliant) iLife suite to bring together photos, blogs and videos with the click of a button.
