I live & work in the West Midlands, am a member of the British Toymakers Guild, I've taught in schools for 10 years and adult night classes for 3 years, worked as keeper of the craft gallery at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists for a while , was a member of the Birmingham Dollmakers Club for 15 years and with their support, worked on one of their projects which became the miniature family sets.

My work has a wider implication in peoples' lives.  In getting on with your life you also agree to life's challenges. Sometimes we employ techniques of coping or goal setting which can be beneficial, enjoyable and even life changing.  I use crafts like sewing, knitting & crochet to help me think and produce while watching tv.  In all that we do or 'see', colour affects and has a remarkable effect on our lives, when we walk into a room that helps us feel at ease in our home or someone else's home.  Did you know that even your name vibrates a particular colour energy which may help you understand, embrace or change who you are or want to become?

When you buy one of my miniatures of any description you are employing the colour symbols that it represents, not just of how well it enhances your outfit, but of what you aspire to, of what you would like to remember through your day, of what you would like to take courage from in order to remember - 'You are not here alone'.  Be encouraged.  Be inspired - to be yourself.  Enjoy!
