We have accomplished so much and have learned so much.

Some accomplishments:

-Biked 4000+ miles across the USA

-visited almost 70 communities

-talked to over 15,000 people

-inspired change in people along the way who have reported to us they are happy and doing what they love now!

-grown more centered and balanced in our own lives and learned how to love better

Some lessons:

-feeling entitled or having entitlement issues causes problems for people especially between the have’s and the have not’s

-filming at communities is sometimes offensive to people living there. We have to give them advance notice and sometimes one member will cause the whole community consensus process to hold up. We have to let go.

-Sometimes community members are not on board with sustainability or the movement in general and don’t want to be included in the banner we are waving because they believe they are not living sustainably in community and are just trying to live their lives. We respect that. Yet, we encourage people to realize it’s a JOURNEY towards sustainability, one step at a time, that we can all help each other get there together.

-We are all one, and when we have expectations on other people we can bring everyone down.

-We can forgive ourselves and help bring everyone up. If we still have a hard time forgiving ourselves, we can relive the painful experiences, or the mess-ups in our minds and hearts, in the way we would have rather them to have been lived, and this can create an energy of healing, and we can move forward better.
