The PTA Organization
Manor Elementary PTA is part of the largest children advocacy organization in the world. We formed our PTA in the 1950s but PTA began in the 1897 and has had immense influence on our nation ever since.
By banding parent groups together under the one umbrella of PTA, we can provide the power of millions of voices to benefit all children. PTA has helped to pass seat belt laws for children, hot lunches, safe routes to schools, health care for children, diversity outreach, juvenile justice system, bringing kindergarten to public schools, polio vaccination, smoking addiction education, movie ratings like G, PG, R, HIV/AIDS awareness, Family Medical Leave Act, SMARTS-Bring Back the Arts....and SOOO much more!
