Each week in October we’re releasing a video podcast about the DVD we’ve made, Sea Kayak with Gordon Brown.

We’ll show how we achieved some of the shots, take you behind the scenes with the filming and explain why it’s really two DVDs in one. The store at SeaKayakWithGordonBrown.com is open for pre-release orders. The PAL version of the the DVD is released on 1st November 2009 with the NTSC version released in the USA 1st December 2009.

What better way to follow Cheri Perry than a Podcast with her partner Turner Wilson. He teaches Greenland techniques, which doesn’t just mean rolling, and runs kayak building classes. Their website is kayakways.net.

Turner and Cheri took sessions at the Scottish Sea Kayak Symposium on Skye in May 2009.

This phone quality interview was recorded with Patrick Winterton after he and Mick Berwick became the first people to sea kayak from Scotland to the Faroe Islands. They arrived Friday 3rd July after leaving North Rona Tuesday 30th June around 12:00 noon - three days two nights at sea in sea kayaks. More when they return.
