We launched from steep small slipway and parked behind the cafe. There’s another launch spot further down main road in front of the Lochaline Hotel.  Route 25.7km long

2 kn springs at entrance to Sound and up to 1 kn elsewhere

The tidal streams are not equally divided time-wise.  The NW stream for about 5.25 hrs at the SE end of the Sound and 6.75 hrs at the NW end of the Sound
