Alan Simms is a speaker, writer, and publications editor by professional background.  However, Alan is also known as a SENSEI – a martial arts teacher of some reputation, who has been inducted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame; the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame; the World Christian and Save the Children National Black Belt Halls of Fame. In the capacity of a Master Sensei, Alan has trained literally thousands of young people, adults, and law enforcement professionals in the past 35 years that he’s been a teacher. He represents Karate Schools in New Jersey, New England, Georgia, and Michigan that train in the American Goshi Shun tradition.
