The March Meeting of the American Physical Society, the largest physics meeting of the year, took place on March 10-14, 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana. More than 7,000 scientists attended. The principal topic areas were condensed matter physics, industrial applications, new materials, chemical and biological physics, fluids, polymers, and computation.
