Not devoted to any medium, I gravitated after much artistic evolution into film. Working in film was very much the convergence of all my experiences in the Arts, and my first feature film was an example of the delicate weaving of my work in illustration, painting, product and industrial designs, audio manipulation, comic art and of course photography. The essence of what I am trying to capture in all my forms of Art is the purity concepts that are part of my life experiences -most of which came about from subcultures in Chicago and Los Angeles.

Initially, Chicago was a huge influence on my work. Living on Michigan Avenue two blocks from Lake Shore Drive, I experienced the loneliness that the winter nights of Chicago can bring. I wrote my second film while at SAIC and

it was in that experience that I knew I was going

to make a film that would express what that very

culture had done to my character.

I have worked in the mediums of clay, oil paint,

welding, watercolor, pen and ink, live action film,

film photography, digital photography, video,

interactive media, multimedia, new media, and

sound design. I double majored at CalArts in

film directing and sound design.

My experience in the Arts began when I was very

young. One of my earliest teachers taught at the

Cooper Union, and he was a major piece of

my seeking to delve into the Fine Arts.

My future projects will continue to be in various

Art forms, but I will always have a love for the

organic as I continue to work in the digital world.
