I was born in Brooklyn NY and am a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology.  I’ve been taking pictures for over 35 years.  I worked the counters in retail, freelanced and was one of the NY Islanders team photographers (1980-1985).

I started at Nikon House in NYC in 1985 as a Technical Consultant, became the General Manager in 1987, and have been working out of Nikon’s LI offices for the past 16 years. Today I’m a Sr. Product Manager for Digital SLR, Nikkor Lenses and  Nikon Speedlights as well as representing Nikon with online and in print  media as a Nikon Spokesperson.  I’ve been a Contributing Editor for Nikon World magazine for 19 years with my column Hands On.  In cooperation with NASA I have participated in training America’s space shuttle and International Space Station astronauts in the use of digital still camera equipment.

I’m a member of the flickr community as lindsayspix and flashaholic and serve as a moderator on the Nikon Digital Learning Center on flickr.
