This is a full day course taking attendees through the full workflow process inside of Lightroom.

Introduction to Studio Photography.
Do you want an introduction to studio photography? Are you looking at setting up a home studio but don’t know where to start and what to buy? Then you’ve come to the right place. EOS Magazine technical editor David Newton and professional freelance photographer Sid Jervis are taking bookings for 1 day ‘Basic Studio Photography’ courses.
These are not your traditional pin-up and glamour style studio sessions. Instead, you will learn the basics of studio kit and what it does.
What to buy to get your own home studio up and running, without spending a fortune, and how to get the best out of a small space.
There will be a portrait session using studio lighting and a product and still-life session using Canon Speedlites.
The cost for the day is £120 including lunch, discounts are available on multi person bookings.
Please note : If minimum numbers are not met, attendees may be asked to attend another course or accept a refund.

About the tutors:
David Newton has been the technical editor at EOS Magazine for well over two years. In that time he has written many articles on photography and photographic techniques using Canon EOS kit. He runs a variety of both wildlife photography courses and bespoke one-to-one training sessions covering a multitude of topics and counts some of the world’s foremost photographers among those he has passed advice on to. He is an unashamed technical photography geek with a clear and easy way to explain complicated subjects and a lively, enthusiastic personality that guarantees a fun and informative day.
Sid Jervis is a freelance photojournalist. He has been involved in photography for many years, since he ‘borrowed’ his fathers box brownie and placed it on permanent loan. Sid has experience of both film and wet studio work and digital workflow. With extensive experience in computing and computer network systems Sid has a wealth of knowledge ready to pass on to help you make the most of the emerging digital technologies. His approach is to get you "seeing the light" as only that way can you learn to control it.
Course Fees
There are two fees, the single rate and the group rate. The single rate is £120.00 per person, the group rate is £100.00 per person, group bookings must include at least three people.
