Betty Hall for State Senate
Betty Hall for State Senate
Representative Betty Hall is in her 14th term in the New Hampshire House and has been a leader in the New Hampshire politics for many years. She is now running as an Independent for the New Hampshire Senate.
Although she strongly supports Barack Obama, her primary issues have always been government accountability and election integrity and she feels that in today’s political climate she can best address these issues as an Independent.
“This year I decided not to run for reelection to my comparatively safe seat in the NH House and to run as an Independent by nominating papers, because I am unhappy with the failure of both parties to act on the important issues of our time.
In my twenty-eight years in the legislature I have worked on election integrity issues: lobby reform, campaign finance reform, vote counting transparency, as well as tax reform, education, and the issue of global warming. With your help, I plan to speak to these issues from a Senate seat in the great State of New Hampshire.
