Aloha Hokule’a Crew, Family, Friends, and Visitors,
We, the fifth grade class of Sacred Hearts School, are honored to be corresponding with the 2009 Hokule’a crew as they make their crossing to the Palmyra Atoll. We are learning many interesting facts about the Hokule’a’s legendary adventures of the past, and so proud to be part of this very latest expedition.
Hokule’a means “Star of Gladness.” We are so glad to be part of all this. It almost feels like we’re voyaging with the crew! We hope you enjoy our site.
