Frames represent positions of Neptune and Jupiter (with its 4-Galilian moons) relative to mu Capricorni from July 6 to July 12, 2009, at about 03:30 ADT. The starfield is about 1.6° from lower left corner to upper right corner. Jupiter is in lower left. The 5th mag. central star is mu Capricorni; Neptune is a 7.8 mag. object above centre that shifts to the right when the slideshow is activated. On July 9, Jupiter and Neptune are separated by about 0.56° of arc. Both planets are undergoing retrograde motion.
