Cows and horses roam the streets. You can hike up the mountain to visit the local pyramid, Tepozteco. Or enjoy the Sunday market with lots of artisans. The Tower is located just outside of town. It’s just a short walk to catch a bus or colectivo taxi to the centro. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the centro, which makes this area very quiet and peaceful, yet convenient. The property has a large yard with beautiful gardens and two houses: the Geranium House (where we live) and The Tower. The guest room in the Tower: is on the second floor, with great views is accessed directly by an exterior spiral stair case has one double bed the room can also have either table & chairs or a twin bed has a recently remodeled bathroom Additional amenities: - bottled drinking water provided in the room - plenty of parking 2 mountain bikes available to borrow free high speed wireless internet access to the gardens, including fruit trees, a BBQ grill, hammocks, chairs & tables - well behaved pets will be considered, for a small pet fee. (Note, we have a dog and two cats, so your pet must get along with other animals!) - a local cell phone available to rent for a small fee - meal service available for a small fee if arranged in advance - Spanish lessons and massages can be arranged either on the property or at locations in town Please note that there is no television on the property.
