Tepoztlán is a small pueblo located 45 minutes south of Mexico City, in the state of Morelos, not far from Cuernavaca, known for it’s year round good weather. Cows and horses roam the streets. You can hike up the mountain to visit the local pyramid, Tepozteco. Or enjoy the Sunday market with lots of artisans. The Geranium House is available throughout the year for short term rent. The property is located on Xolatlaco, near the entrance so it’s just a short walk to catch a combi or colectivo taxi to the centro. It’s about 7 minute drive to the centro, which makes this area very quiet and peaceful. The property has a large yard and two houses (The Geranium House and the Tower). Children are welcome and we will consider guests with well behaved pets.
The main house has a large bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a small children’s sleeping area with a toddler bed. Two other children can sleep on the sofa (not a sofa bed). In total, the main house can sleep 2 adults + 3 children. An additional twin bed can be put in the Geranium House either in the bedroom or in the children’s sleeping area, if desired. There is a lovely, well stocked kitchen with everything you will need for your stay.
The second house is the guest house, called The Tower. The Tower has a cozy guest room on the second floor with a double bed. It can also be furnished with either another twin bed or with a small table and chairs. The bathroom in the suite has been recently remodeled. The Tower can sleep 3 adults.
**The tower house is also available to rent on an ongoing basis-- click here for more details.**
In total, the property can sleep 6 adults and 3 children (one in a toddler bed and 2 on the sofa in the main house).
