Very few performers have had as much success transitioning from the “Urban Dance”  scene to the film realm as Shawn Welling has.  Being in the entertainment scene since the late 80s, today, Welling is one of the most recognized and esteemed performers and producers in the Southwest.


After successfully conquering the dance instructional and performance industries, Shawn Welling has taken on the new role as film director.  With the help of partner Roger Scott Budge, John Sotolongo and Harwood Taylor, Welling recently launched Welling Films, LLC,  a film and television production company that also does artist management.  Since its birth, Welling Films has produced several hits including ELCX, House of Dreams, and the most popular  and recent, The Messenger (360 Days of Bolivar).
