It has been said that, “life is too short to live the same day twice.” That statement has become my mantra in recent years. For me, college was about learning to use my mind, discovering my “self,” and deciding to change the world.
After finishing with undergrad, I moved to Costa Rica, where I studied Spanish, fulfilled an internship with the government, taught high school English, and in my attempts to impact others found myself being impacted more than I could ever have imagined.
I then moved to the small island of Yap in the Federated States of Micronesia, where I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer, working with youth and community development.
I now live in Southern California.
